3 Topics I’m Exploring Right Now
3 topics have been attracting my curiosity recently:
Topic #1: Tasks by Cognitive Effort
I’m interested in focus and being intentional with my time. So much so that I created a framework called Focus Drivers, which allows you to categorise tasks by cognitive efforts.
And I hope that over the next few months, as I continue to learn more and more, I’ll be able to turn Focus Drivers framework into a book, course or both.
Topic #2: Personal Knowledge Management (PKM)
Tiago Forte introduced me to PKM with the Building a Second Brain cohort-based course.
⚡️Lightning bolt moment ⚡️
PKM opened my eyes to the benefits of a connected system for capturing content and distilling my expressions.
It transformed my note-taking into note-making. No more forgotten Kindle highlights, newsletter subscriptions or article bookmarks!!! They’re actually useful now.
Topic #3: Compounding Motivation
I’ve been looking at how unrelated achievements can impact motivation.
Making your bed, hitting the gym, getting outside early, or an hour of morning writing — can create small wins.
Small wins can prime for bigger lifts and influence a positive mindset.
It would be great to connect with other people interested in these same topics — so if any of the above resonates, feel free to reach out!
